Go2Lithium, founded in early 2023 and headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Canada, is a 50/50 joint venture between Clean TeQ Water Holdings and Computational Geosciences Inc. The company develops and commercializes continuous Direct Lithium Extraction (cDLE®) technology to recover lithium from brine resources. Battery Technology

Go2Lithium’s cDLE® platform is a continuous ion-exchange, moving-bed process that performs counter-current sorption, washing and desorption of lithium from brines. Reported performance includes lithium recoveries exceeding 98%, production of high-concentration eluate (>3,000 mg/L) and >90% impurity removal. The continuous design reduces chemical inputs (roughly one-third versus prior DLE methods), lowers freshwater and energy demand, and reduces land use and CO₂ intensity compared with pond evaporation and hard-rock routes. Computational geoscience tools support brine characterization and site optimization.

Products

Go2Lithium licenses the cDLE® processing system and operates pilot and demonstration plants for site validation. The solution produces purified lithium eluate ready for conversion to battery-grade lithium carbonate or hydroxide. Key benefits are high recovery, suitability for low-grade brines, reduced chemical and water use, and a smaller environmental footprint. Applications include lithium feedstock for EV batteries, stationary energy storage, and consumer electronics.

Go2Lithium is jointly owned 50/50 by Clean TeQ Water Holdings and Computational Geosciences Inc., combining process technology and geoscience expertise. The company has no reported external institutional investors as of mid-2025.
