These materials offer advantages in cost and resource availability compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries.

Recent Projects

In early 2024, IBU-tec secured its largest battery sector order to date, valued in the mid-single-digit million euro range. This agreement involves collaboration with a global automotive manufacturer for developing and producing IBUvolt LFP 402. The company also established a partnership with LANXESS to develop new iron oxide products for LFP battery materials, contributing to building a sustainable European battery supply chain. These initiatives support IBU-tec’s strategic goal of expanding its battery materials business significantly by 2025.
