Role Overview
The Continuous Improvement Analyst will lead plant-wide initiatives to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement focused on optimizing manufacturing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), product quality, waste reduction, energy conservation, safety, and cost efficiencies. Applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, this role supports operational excellence by mentoring teams, facilitating knowledge transfer, and aligning continuous improvement efforts with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex continuous improvement projects by defining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables while identifying innovative solutions.
- Proactively identify and prioritize opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste using Lean concepts.
- Develop and implement plant continuous improvement strategies with clear goals, action plans, and leadership engagement.
- Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement principles, embedding CI into the change management process.
- Coordinate initiatives to optimize resources, minimize redundancies, and maximize value.
- Collaborate with managers and associates to identify improvement opportunities and justify cost-saving measures.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish and validate production standards and costs.
- Utilize value stream mapping and process charting to enhance product flow and workflow efficiency.
- Work with training teams to develop, audit, and standardize work instructions and procedures.
- Support and foster continuous improvement teams and activities throughout the plant.
- Participate in environmental, health, and safety training, including hazardous material handling protocols.
- Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols independently.
- Perform additional duties such as 5S housekeeping, meeting participation, and training attendance.
- Undertake additional projects as directed by Plant or Department Managers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven ability to identify process improvements and lead cross-functional implementation.
- Strong strategic mindset capable of managing change, ambiguity, and complexity to drive results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
Preferred Qualifications/Additional Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Certification such as Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent Lean certification desirable.
- Project management experience and demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with Lean, 5S, and DMAIC methodologies in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Additional Information
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling as necessary.
