Role Overview
As a Frontend Developer at Circunomics, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining a cutting-edge analytics-based Lifecycle Management platform and marketplace. You will work with the latest web technologies, visualizing complex battery data and collaborating closely within an agile, interdisciplinary team. Your contributions will directly support the company’s mission to enhance sustainability through innovative battery lifecycle solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Lifecycle Management platform and marketplace using Angular.
- Visualize complex battery data and usage KPIs through charting frameworks such as ECharts, D3, Chart, or Recharts.
- Leverage, maintain, and extend the Component Library using Storybook.
- Implement GDPR-compliant security measures and optimize platform performance with smart caching techniques.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and component design strategies.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end (E2E) and unit tests to ensure high coverage.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience designing and implementing scalable, multi-component user interfaces.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS for building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of Angular (version 17+) and charting frameworks.
- Experience with component-based architecture, state management, and building reusable UI components.
- Familiarity with frontend quality tools such as ESLint, Prettier, and Husky, as well as test automation tools like Jasmine and Karma.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Motivated, proactive, committed to continuous learning and improvement.
- Experience managing software releases.
- Fluent in English (mandatory); German language skills are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications/Additional Skills
- AWS certifications.
- Backend development experience with PHP, Node.js, or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).
- Experience implementing UX analytics to analyze user behavior and improve design.
