Role Overview
As a Project Manager at Libattion AG, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Battery Energy Storage System projects. Your role is critical in managing project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project delivery. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, clients, and external partners to drive projects from inception through installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements for BESS installations.
- Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to achieve project goals within defined constraints.
- Monitor project milestones, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, vendors, and partners, facilitating communication and collaboration.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and deliverables.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing phases to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Manage project budgets and allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands.
- Conduct site inspections and quality audits to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare financial reports and comprehensive project documentation for stakeholders.
- Travel to customer sites for key meetings and project handovers as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing projects in renewable energy, electrical equipment manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to oversee technical project components and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated capability in budget management and resource allocation.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications/Additional Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience specifically with Battery Energy Storage Systems or similar renewable energy projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and adaptable mindset to manage changing project requirements.
