Role Overview
As a Sales Manager at tozero, you will drive the adoption of our sustainable recycling solutions across hard-to-abate industries. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and cold outreach to contract negotiation and closing—and expand new business within sectors such as cement, ceramics, glass, and lubricants. Your efforts will be critical in scaling our market presence and advancing Europe’s battery independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new customers in industrial sectors (cement, ceramics, glass, lubricants).
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from cold outreach to deal closing.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of SMB and mid-market accounts.
- Develop customized pitches and proposals aligned with customers’ sustainability and innovation goals.
- Partner with technical and operations teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Represent tozero at sales meetings, industry events, and conferences.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably with SMBs or mid-market industrial clients.
- Proven track record of negotiating and securing new business.
- Experience in commodity or raw material markets (e.g., sand, metals, materials); lithium sales experience is a plus.
- Native-level German and business-fluent English proficiency.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a hunter mentality and high energy.

- Established contacts or experience within cement, ceramics, glass, or lubricant industries.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to evolving market needs.
