Role Overview
As a Senior Project Manager within the Customer-Focus team, you will oversee large and complex projects related to large-scale energy storage. Your role involves end-to-end project management, ensuring successful delivery through strategic planning, cross-departmental collaboration, and efficient resource management. You will lead internal teams and external partners, handle communication of customer and partner requirements, and drive project milestones to support the company’s growth and innovation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large and complex development and customer projects in the field of energy storage.
- Create and implement project management plans tailored to a cross-departmental and complex environment.
- Analyze and communicate customer and partner requirements within the organization.
- Lead and coordinate external partners involved in the project scope.
- Ensure efficient allocation of internal and external resources.
- Organize and lead project meetings, gate reviews, and milestone tracking.
- Review and optimize project concepts and calculations.
- Collaborate closely with internal specialist departments to achieve project goals.
- Manage project timelines and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
- University degree, preferably in engineering sciences or a related field.
- Relevant work experience in stationary battery technology, energy storage, or related industrial applications.
- Proven experience managing customer projects, ideally within the energy industry or plant engineering.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with multiple interfaces.
- Certification in project management such as PMI (CAPM), IPMA (Level D), or equivalent.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
