Role Overview
As a Technical Project Manager at VoltStorage, you will lead complex technical projects from initiation to delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will serve as a vital link between technical teams and stakeholders, driving effective collaboration and problem-solving to successfully execute projects within scope. Your expertise in project management and technical domains will be critical in managing risks, resources, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical projects from initiation to successful closure.
- Collaborate with technical teams, product managers, and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Plan, execute, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources from concept through series production.
- Report project status regularly and escalate issues as needed.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate clear communication.
- Identify risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Organize team meetings, track progress, and ensure alignment among departments.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and motivating project environment.
- Maintain thorough project documentation and deliver comprehensive reports throughout project phases.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing engineering or R&D projects from concept to production.
- Proven ability to manage technology projects involving software development, hardware implementation, or system integration.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
- Strong technical understanding to effectively bridge technical and business teams.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, or Scrum Master highly desirable.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus but not required.
