From November 26th to 29th, 2024, Bauma China 2024 was grandly held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. EVE Energy showcased its comprehensive solutions for construction machinery and launched its new Open Source Battery at the event. The initiative aims to assist the new-energy construction machinery industry in reducing costs and increasing efficiency, ushering in a new era of operations.

Since 2015, EVE Energy has been a pioneer in commercial vehicle battery research and development, actively promoting the electrification of commercial vehicles and construction machinery. The company’s products have been deployed in 14 countries worldwide, enduring extreme temperatures and serving over 80% of leading domestic clients in China.

During the exhibition, EVE Energy engaged in insightful discussions with esteemed clients such as Caterpillar, XCMG, SANY, Zoomlion, and SDLG. The conversations focused on market trends, specialized application requirements, and future product development directions in the engineering machinery sector. EVE Energy expressed confidence in the future of the new-energy construction machinery industry.

Fencer Zheng, Director of the EVE Energy Battery System Institute, introduced the company’s comprehensive solutions tailored for construction machinery scenarios. These solutions focus on four key modules: construction machinery, heavy-duty trucks, aerial work platforms, and special machinery. By incorporating the four core attributes of open-source batteries—faster charging, enhanced structural strength, longer battery life, and superior safety—they offer significant advantages. Specifically, they can reduce charging time by 25%, exceed a cycle life of 5,000 cycles, and achieve structural strength three times that of the previous national standard. These solutions meet the operational demands of high loads, varied working conditions, and full life cycles, ensuring safety and reliability for users.

For construction vehicles, EVE Energy launched the B3P Platform, innovatively using Top-Bottom Liquid Cooling Technology to ensure operation across a full temperature range while maintaining ultra-high strength and extended lifespan. The integrated system solutions can accommodate power demands ranging from 114kWh to 700kWh for conventional loaders and mining trucks.

For heavy-duty and mining trucks, EVE Energy introduced the H3E Platform, utilizing the CTP (Cell to Pack) module-free solution and full-field foaming technology to enhance system packaging efficiency and structural strength reliability. These batteries can be mounted at the back or side, supporting both charging and swapping. The unique dual-pile with four-gun charging system boosts charging efficiency for large-capacity products, significantly reducing charging time and enhancing operational efficiency.

For aerial work platforms, EVE Energy unveiled the ES series platform products, featuring an integrated Battery Disconnect Unit (BDU). This design minimizes costs while significantly enhancing system reliability and space utilization. These products cater to the full range of scissor lift platforms, from 6 meters to 14 meters.

Looking ahead, EVE Energy will continue to uphold the principle of “Upholding Integrity & Pursuing Innovation.” The company remains committed to addressing customer demands and key challenges in the construction machinery industry, driving technological innovations, and collaborating with partners to facilitate the electrification transformation of the sector.
