ICBR 2026 is the 31st International Congress for Battery Recycling, scheduled for 9–11 September 2026 in Berlin, Germany, with mixed in-person and virtual participation options. The congress convenes battery producers, recyclers, collection organisations, OEMs, policymakers, materials and service providers, and technical experts to address operational, technical and regulatory issues in battery recycling. Sessions will cover recycling technologies for lithium‑ion and lead‑acid chemistries, methods for recovery of critical raw materials such as lithium, cobalt and nickel, safety and handling protocols, collection and logistics, and relevant policy and standards developments. The programme typically combines technical presentations, policy briefings and panel discussions.
