The 18th International Flow Battery Forum (IFBF) takes place on 22–24 June 2027 in Barcelona, Spain, at the Barceló Sants Hotel above Barcelona Sants railway station. IFBF is the annual event on the commercialisation and technological advancement of flow batteries for long-duration energy storage.

Over three days the organisers expect 300+ delegates from manufacturers, utilities, suppliers, policymakers, research and academia, 50+ speakers, an exhibition area with 25+ stands, 50+ posters with a poster session and awards, a speed-pitching contest, a cocktail reception and a conference dinner.

The call for proposals runs from 1 November 2026 to 15 January 2027, and tickets go on sale in February 2027. Sponsorship and exhibition packages are available on request.
