Li-ion Battery Europe 2026, the fourth edition of the event, takes place on 2 and 3 November 2026 at the Hilton Barcelona, Spain. Organised by SMM (Shanghai Metals Market) and supported by ACCIÓ – Catalonia Trade & Investment (Government of Catalonia), it brings together decision-makers from across the European lithium battery value chain and representatives of European governments; more than 800 delegates are expected.

The summit analyses the implementation and latest developments of the EU Battery Regulation, the Battery Passport initiative and the Critical Raw Materials Act, and explores policy support and cooperation prospects for China–Europe battery projects. The programme runs in four sessions – Recycling, Raw Materials, EV & ESS Battery and Battery Materials – with the EV & ESS Battery Tech session on the afternoon of 2 November and the Raw Materials and Recycling sessions on 3 November.

Participation is free; delegate registration and exhibitor booking are open. The event runs from 09:00 to 17:50 on 2 November and from 08:30 to 17:10 on 3 November, and a networking app helps participants arrange meetings.
