The 2026 Women in Batteries Conference, organized by the Volta Foundation, convenes July 28–30 in Silicon Valley to support women and allies working in battery science, engineering, manufacturing and associated fields. The program combines panels, keynote presentations and exclusive laboratory tours to address technical topics such as materials, cell design, testing and safety, alongside sessions on workplace practices and pathways for participation. The event is intended for researchers, engineers, product and program managers, suppliers, policy professionals and others engaged with battery technology. Attendees will have structured opportunities for professional exchange and networking. The conference builds on a Volta Foundation initiative launched in 2023 that has grown to more than 3,000 members. Registration is open with an early-bird rate available through May 31, 2026; additional logistical details will be provided by the organizer.
