With global carbon neutrality targets driving rapid industry expansion, the energy storage sector is entering a period of significant growth. Lead Intelligent Equipment (LEAD), a recognized leader in new energy equipment, is responding with comprehensive turnkey, full-process intelligent manufacturing solutions designed to enhance production efficiency, lower costs, and accelerate smart manufacturing capabilities.

LEAD’s integrated ecosystem spans cell manufacturing, module and PACK assembly, charge–discharge testing, and containerized energy storage system production. At its core is a proprietary Manufacturing Execution System (MES) seamlessly linked with intelligent logistics and warehousing operations. Precision engineering is central to LEAD’s cell production. Full-process lines deliver industry-leading performance in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), cycle times, yield rates, and data traceability. In the prismatic segment, LEAD’s 314 Ah and 587 Ah cell lines achieve single-line capacities of up to 6 GWh per year, while next-generation solutions exceeding 600 Ah continue to set new benchmarks. For cylindrical batteries, LEAD provides the exclusive 350 PPM high-speed full-tab 21/18 line, supported by laser welding and high-speed electrolyte filling to ensure process stability and scalability across large-format 46–60 series cells.

In containerized energy storage manufacturing, LEAD has introduced the industry’s first fully automated production line. This solution covers cell stacking; CCS welding with 3D and AI inspection; liquid cooling plate gluing; PACK integration; and final end-of-line testing. Key innovations include automated cluster handling, bolt tightening, and fly-by inspection, enabling parallel line operation for uninterrupted throughput and a modular architecture that shortens delivery times and reduces costs.
