Battery Technology

BLC’s technology includes a fully automated deep discharge facility in Magdeburg capable of processing eight lithium-ion batteries simultaneously in under 15 minutes; specialized testing equipment and protocols for evaluating and certifying batteries for second-life stationary energy storage (extending useful life by up to 10 years); and robot-assisted dismantling systems that separate materials like copper and aluminum with precision. Its Magdeburg facility processes up to 15,000 metric tons of batteries annually.
