Salty Enerji began pilot-scale production of sodium-ion 18650 batteries at Izmir Technopark, deploying its systems in microgrids, telecommunication base stations, industrial equipment and forklifts, uninterruptible power supplies, and data centers across Turkey. The company was founded with support from TÜBİTAK 1512.

Investors

TRAngels invested in Salty Enerji in 2022 at a valuation of $1.4M. The company also received TÜBİTAK 1512 support in 2020.
