Its portfolio includes R&D, quality assurance, and end-of-line test systems; high-power EV battery test systems; formation systems; simulation equipment; and machinery and automated lines for electrode processing, cell assembly, formation, and aging of pouch, cylindrical, and prismatic lithium cells.

Privately held by founder Rolf Beckers since 1968; no public institutional or venture capital investors. In 2013, Digatron established a joint venture in India with Ador Powertron Ltd., named Ador Digatron Pvt. Ltd.
