Infinity Lithium’s core technology is its Li-Stream RPK processing system, which eliminates natural gas usage by removing beneficiation, roasting, and calcining steps. It uses generated steam to power mechanical equipment, achieving recovery rates over 90%. The facility is designed to produce approximately 33,000 tons of battery-grade lithium hydroxide annually. In 2022, it became the first EU project to produce battery-grade lithium chemicals from San José feedstock. Technology also features 100% underground extraction and electrified mining equipment to minimize environmental impact.
The company produces battery-grade lithium hydroxide with an annual capacity of about 33,000 tons, leveraging its Li-Stream RPK processing technology for sustainable and efficient output.
Flagship San José Lithium Project in Extremadura, Spain, the EU’s second-largest hard rock lithium deposit. Secured A$930,000 in private funding and A$31 million from the Spanish Government. Demonstrated production of battery-grade lithium hydroxide at Dorfner Anzaplan in Germany, validating process effectiveness and sustainability.
