Role Overview

As our Business Development and Sales Manager, you will drive revenue growth by researching market opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and securing strategic partnerships. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to tailor solutions, represent Primobius at industry events, and deliver insights on market trends and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities in the battery recycling sector.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue for Primobius’s lithium-ion battery recycling plants.
  • Lead sales presentations, pitches, and negotiations to secure contracts and partnerships, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships with manufacturers, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align solutions with customer needs and company capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Represent Primobius at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare regular reports on sales activities and forecasts.

Required Qualifications

  • Above-average degree in business, engineering, environmental technology, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and business development with measurable revenue achievements.
  • Deep understanding of the battery recycling industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Several years of experience in sales or business development roles, ideally in industrial or environmental technology sectors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High social competence, resilience, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications/Additional Skills

  • Experience partnering with government agencies, OEMs, or manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of circular economy principles and sustainability practices.
  • Ability to adapt and collaborate in an international business environment.
