Regenerate Technology holds three patent families with over 15 pending applications. For lead-acid batteries, it produces battery-ready leady oxide directly from end-of-life paste, reducing waste and emissions. Its lithium-ion recycling uses hydro-metallurgical processes that avoid incineration and enhance smelter efficiency. Facilities include a 120,000 sq ft plant in Sweden for alkaline and lithium-ion processing and a 180,000 sq ft facility in Bologna, Italy for lead-acid battery breakdown and premium leady oxide production.
Acquired Ever Resource (UK) and Infinion SARL (Sweden) to expand European recycling capacity. Under Regenerate’s ownership, Ever Resource won “Cleantech Start-up of the Year” and “Global Start-up of the Year” at the 2024 East of England Start-up Awards.
