Voltaplex Energy has announced the launch of its comprehensive Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions, marking a significant advancement in the company’s efforts to provide safe, efficient, and scalable energy storage for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications.
Known for its high-quality lithium iron phosphate (LFP) prismatic cells and custom battery packs, Voltaplex is now offering fully integrated, turnkey energy storage systems designed to address the evolving energy demands of various sectors.
The new BESS solutions support multiple lithium-ion chemistries to provide flexibility for different project requirements. These include Voltaplex Life™ Cells, which feature a proprietary extended-life nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) chemistry capable of over 1,550 cycles at 80% capacity, LFP chemistry known for its thermal stability and long cycle life ideal for grid and stationary applications, and traditional NMC chemistry offering higher energy density suitable for space-constrained or mobile deployments.
Voltaplex’s BESS platforms are available in containerized, rack-mounted, or outdoor-integrated configurations, with customizable voltage, power, and energy capacities. Each system includes advanced Battery Management System (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS) integration, with options for HVAC, fire suppression, and remote monitoring. The systems support industry-standard protocols such as Modbus, CAN, and Ethernet, and feature a scalable modular architecture ranging from 10kWh to multi-megawatt-hour systems. Additionally, Voltaplex provides a 10-year standard warranty to ensure long-term reliability.
The BESS solutions are suitable for various applications, including renewable energy storage for solar and wind integration, peak shaving and load shifting, backup power and off-grid systems, as well as microgrids and enhanced energy resiliency.
Rebekah Weaver, a manager at Voltaplex, stated, “We’ve always focused on delivering dependable battery technology. With our BESS launch, we’re combining that core strength with end-to-end integration to support large-scale energy storage demands.”
Voltaplex is currently accepting inquiries for both standard and custom BESS configurations. The company’s engineering and product teams are available to design tailored solutions for project developers, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms, or integrators.
