Axxiva’s core technologies include solid-state batteries, semi-solid batteries, Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC), Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP), and Sodium-ion batteries. The company uses a dry manufacturing process for solid-state batteries, targeting energy densities from 300 Wh/kg initially up to 500 Wh/kg by 2027. Collaboration with 24M Technologies enables them to implement SemiSolid technology for efficient NMC battery production. They are also researching Magnesium/Lithium Hybrid-Ion Batteries (MLHBs) combining lithium and magnesium advantages for safety, cost-efficiency, and performance.
Axxiva produces solid-state battery prototypes with plans for commercial production with energy densities reaching 500 Wh/kg by 2027. They also manufacture NMC power batteries aiming for 350-450 Wh/kg energy density, Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, and explore Sodium-ion batteries. Their products leverage advanced chemistries and manufacturing technologies such as the SemiSolid platform for cost-effective, high-performance applications.
Recent projects include a 2025 milestone producing first solid-state battery prototypes with a 1.25 GWh/year production line in Wuhu. They received the Second Prize at the 2024 Anhui Province Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. In 2024, Axxiva was named the “Wuhu City Semi-Solid Battery Technology R&D Center” and partnered strategically with SanDianShui New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. They also have a strategic partnership with DOWSTONE from December 2024 to co-develop solid-state battery materials and manufacturing. As a licensee of 24M Technologies, Axxiva plans gigafactory construction using SemiSolid battery technology and benefits from investment by GPSC to expand battery manufacturing for the EV market.
Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) holds an 11.1% equity stake; Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. holds 9.9%; Gotion High-Tech Co., Ltd. holds 5.9%. DOWSTONE is a major materials development partner with no disclosed equity. GPSC’s investment has supported the expansion of electric vehicle battery production, particularly targeting Southeast Asian markets through joint ventures.
