The 19th international conference “Advanced Battery Power” takes place from 7 to 9 April 2027 at the Eurogress in Aachen. It brings together specialists from science, research and development across the entire battery value chain; the conference language is English. Conference chairs are Prof. Dr. Dirk Uwe Sauer (CARL, RWTH Aachen) and Prof. Dr. Martin Winter (University of Münster).

The programme covers the material, cell and pack levels, production, applications and the battery life cycle, alongside international keynotes. A trade exhibition and poster exhibition run in parallel from 7 to 9 April, and online seminars on battery technology are held on 6 April.

The call for papers is open until 31 October 2026, and conference booking and exhibitor stands for 2027 are available. The event is organised by Haus der Technik (HDT) with partners including the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs (MWIKE), CARL & ISEA (RWTH Aachen), the MEET Battery Research Center and the Helmholtz Institute.
