The Bayerischer Batteriekongress 2026 is the third networking congress for the Bavarian battery sector, held on 20 May 2026 at Design Offices München Atlas in Munich. Organised by Bayern Innovativ with support from the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, the event brings together manufacturers, researchers, policymakers, startups and service providers to discuss current challenges, funding and collaboration across the battery value chain. Staatsminister Hubert Aiwanger will present the Bavarian Battery Strategy. The programme includes registration and a welcome by Dr. Rainer Seßner, the strategy presentation, a panel with industry and political representatives, an exhibition, and parallel technical sessions on topics such as lithium-ion, redox-flow, sodium-ion batteries and stationary storage.
