Wallbox, a global provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, and PowerGo, a Netherlands–based EV charging infrastructure specialist, have entered into a collaboration to install and manage EV chargers at hotels across the Netherlands. Announced in June 2025, the partnership aims to expand the availability of reliable, user-friendly charging stations for travelers and hotel operators aiming to meet growing sustainable mobility demands.
Under the agreement, Wallbox will supply its portfolio of AC and DC charging stations, including the Pulsar Plus home charger adapted for commercial use and the high-power Quasar 2 bidirectional charger. PowerGo will handle site assessments, installation, maintenance, and customer support. All units will connect to Wallbox’s cloud-based management system, enabling real-time monitoring, dynamic load balancing, usage analytics, and over-the-air software updates to optimize energy use and grid interaction.
The initial deployment covers 20 hotel properties, encompassing more than 120 charging points. Participating hotels include mid-scale and upscale brands that serve both domestic and international guests. Rollout is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2025, with full installation expected by year-end. A second phase is planned for early 2026, extending coverage to additional locations and introducing customizable branding options for hotel partners.
This initiative aligns with the Dutch government’s targets to increase public charging infrastructure and reduce transport-related CO₂ emissions. By integrating smart charging hardware with a scalable software platform, Wallbox and PowerGo seek to simplify the deployment process and ensure consistent performance. Hotel staff will receive training on system operation and guest support, and promotional materials will be provided to raise awareness among visitors.
By offering turnkey EV charging solutions, the collaboration supports hotels in achieving sustainability goals, enhancing guest satisfaction, and attracting environmentally conscious travelers. The combined expertise of Wallbox in advanced charging technology and PowerGo’s local installation services is positioned to accelerate EV adoption within the hospitality sector and contribute to the Netherlands’ transition to zero-emission transport.
