KYBURZ uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries and a “Multi-Life” approach: first life powering EVs, second life in other vehicles, third life in stationary storage. Its LIBERTY recycling plant (established 2020) employs chemical-free disassembly to recover over 90% of raw materials, supporting a closed-loop system. Collaborations include Empa and the CircuBAT consortium.
Three-wheeled EVs for urban logistics and delivery, electric scooters (including mobility-adapted models), advanced industrial vehicles, and a proprietary fleet management system for battery optimization. Recent offerings include the SmartBox logistics system (interchangeable GPS-tracked, solar-powered cargo boxes with facial recognition) and the upcoming DXC 3.0 EV model (production planned 2025).
Launched the SmartBox system at the 2024 Amsterdam Parcel & Post EXPO; partnered with Vitesco Technologies to industrialize LFP battery recycling; completed development of the DXC 3.0 EV model for 2025 production; joined an autonomous last-mile pilot in Bern with Planzer Parcel and LOXO deploying the “Mathilde” ID.BUZZ van under the “City Logistics 2028” vision.
