The agency maintains a focus on clean technology and energy solutions, working with over 1,400 local companies and research centers in renewable energy, hydrogen, and battery development. Programs like Battery Valley and Hy East NL bring together partners to advance energy storage and industrial decarbonization. Oost NL backed Perspectieffonds Gelderland’s investment in RIFT, which produces circular iron fuel for clean industrial heat. It also participates in European funds that support resource reuse and waste reduction, reinforcing its role in the transition to a net-zero emission economy by 2050.
