Battery Technology

Talga Technologies develops graphene and graphite-based battery solutions. Its flagship Talnode-C is a natural graphite anode made from Swedish graphite, offering enhanced lithium-ion battery performance with low production emissions. Talnode-Si is a composite anode combining graphite, graphene and silicon for higher energy capacity, improved charging and extended life. The Talnode-C Recycled Series uses recycled graphite from production waste and used batteries, supporting circular economy principles. All materials are tested and optimized at Talga’s Cambridge facility.

Recent Projects

Secured an EU Innovation Fund grant for the Luleå Anode Refinery project. Partnered with Altilium for graphite recovery from end-of-life EV batteries. Received environmental clearance for Swedish mining operations to expand production.

Investors

In 2024, the company received a €70M grant from the EU Innovation Fund. In 2023, it secured €150M in senior debt from the European Investment Bank. In 2025, it completed an AU$10M equity raise from private investors.
