Company Overview

iM3NY, short for Imperium3 New York, Inc., is a leading independent lithium-ion battery manufacturer based in Endicott, New York. Established as one of the first and largest independent lithium-ion cell producers in the United States, iM3NY is dedicated to advancing energy sustainability through innovative battery solutions. The company operates a state-of-the-art 22,000-square-meter Gigafactory which began commercial production in 2022. This facility is a cornerstone of its mission 9Built in America, for the World.9

Battery Technology

iM3NY leverages proprietary BMLMP (Biomineralization Mixed-Metal Phosphate) chemistry developed with Charge CCCV LLC (C4V), delivering cells at 3.9 V for 10–20% greater energy density than LFP and cost advantages over NMC. Its mixed-metal phosphate cathode design enhances safety by reducing thermal runaway risk and is free of cobalt and nickel. Manufacturing is powered by hydroelectricity, resulting in at least 87% less dirty energy per kWh than industry standards.

Products

High-performance P-Series lithium-ion cells for electric vehicles (cars, buses, trucks, planes) and stationary energy storage systems, featuring superior energy density, cost efficiency, and enhanced safety.

Recent Projects
