iM3NY leverages proprietary BMLMP (Biomineralization Mixed-Metal Phosphate) chemistry developed with Charge CCCV LLC (C4V), delivering cells at 3.9 V for 10–20% greater energy density than LFP and cost advantages over NMC. Its mixed-metal phosphate cathode design enhances safety by reducing thermal runaway risk and is free of cobalt and nickel. Manufacturing is powered by hydroelectricity, resulting in at least 87% less dirty energy per kWh than industry standards.
High-performance P-Series lithium-ion cells for electric vehicles (cars, buses, trucks, planes) and stationary energy storage systems, featuring superior energy density, cost efficiency, and enhanced safety.
State-of-the-art 22,000 m² Gigafactory in Endicott began production in 2022 with 1.8 GWh annual capacity and expansion plans to 38 GWh by 2030 (on hold). Partnerships include Charge CCCV LLC for technology development. Supplies large U.S. corporations and the Department of Defense.
Riverstone Energy provided a $50M senior secured term loan. Magnis Energy Technologies raised $23.6M of a $35M equity round. Empire State Development awarded $7.5M in grants and tax credits.
