KapJin’s core battery manufacturing technologies include formation systems, charging/discharging equipment, power conversion systems (PCS), and low-voltage DC (LVDC) solutions. Its formation equipment uses precise voltage and current control and software algorithms to optimize cell activation and stabilization.
Products include the BPT series formation systems (models KJPT-10S and KJPT-160S), chargers, electronic loads, automated testing systems, linear and switching-mode charge/discharge units, AC/DC converters, PCS power conversion units, and LVDC power infrastructures.
Partnerships include supplying formation systems to SK Innovation’s global facilities in Hungary, China, and the U.S. and competing for back-end equipment contracts with Samsung SDI for its planned U.S. battery factory in collaboration with General Motors. Collaborates with SK Innovation, Samsung SDI, LG Energy Solution, and BYD on critical battery production stages.
