Eirich specializes in mixing and material processing technologies for lithium-ion and lead-acid battery electrodes, offering wet and dry processing solutions. Technologies include MixSolver® for wet slurry processing, EVACMIX® vacuum dry dispersion, polymer fibrillation, particle and melt coating. Equipment ranges from 50-liter R05T mixers for production to ultra-small laboratory mixers. The scalable processes support R&D, pilot studies, solid-state coin cell development, and full-scale gigafactory production. Since 2009, Eirich’s dry electrode technologies aim to reduce costs and enhance sustainability compared to traditional wet methods.
Mixing equipment and systems for battery electrode production, including the 50-liter R05T mixer for lithium-ion batteries, ultra-small laboratory mixers for R&D and pilot-scale use, specialized cooled mixing pans for temperature-controlled mixing, and platforms for wet slurry and dry mix preparation.
In 2024, Eirich marked 100 years of its mixing principle, invested 5.5 million euros in a new production building at its Hardheim facility, and collaborated on a large-scale foundry technology project with Atik Metal in Turkey.
