RETRON’s core technology comprises specialized containment systems engineered for maximum safety in battery storage and transport. Products are made from hot-dip galvanized steel and meet UN requirements for dangerous goods transport. Advanced thermal management features maintain external temperatures below 100°C when internal temperatures reach 1,000°C for up to three days. Each container includes flame protection layers and thermal pads, creating multiple safety barriers.
Container solutions include RETRON BOX, RETRON 240, RETRON 460, RETRON 600, RETRON 750, and RETRON 4000. All models feature hot-dip galvanized steel construction, UN-certification for dangerous goods, advanced thermal management (≤100°C exterior at 1,000°C interior for 72 h), integrated flame protection, thermal pads, and ergonomic designs that are rollable, stackable, and craneable.
Deployed battery container systems at multiple REMONDIS Industrie Service hazardous waste facilities in Germany; hired out approximately 1,500 containers for batteries up to 700 kg; expanding lithium-ion battery service infrastructure in Switzerland and France; planning a dedicated recycling plant with 20,000 t annual capacity; partnerships with REMONDIS Industrie Service and TSR (Austria, Czech Republic).
