Company Overview

Vianode develops and manufactures sustainable synthetic anode graphite for lithium-ion batteries, primarily serving the electric vehicle (EV) industry. Founded in 2021, the company operates with a mission to drive the battery industry toward net-zero emissions through advanced material solutions. It combines proprietary closed furnace technology with green energy sources to minimize environmental impact. With facilities across Norway and expansion plans in North America, Vianode is establishing itself as an essential provider of sustainable battery materials for the growing EV market.

Battery Technology

Vianode’s core technology centers on high-performance synthetic anode graphite with a carbon footprint of 1.9 kg CO2/kg achieved via proprietary closed furnace technology and renewable energy integration, compared to the industry average of 20 kg CO2/kg. The anode materials are engineered to enhance charging speed, range, and longevity. The company also develops silicon-graphite composite materials for increased energy density and improved battery performance.
