Ampcera Inc. has commenced commercial shipments of its newly launched nano sulfide solid electrolyte powders to solid-state battery manufacturers worldwide. The company’s proprietary powders combine high ionic conductivity with particle sizes in the hundreds of nanometers, targeting a core challenge in all-solid-state battery production. These materials support the fabrication of ultra-thin separator layers—10 microns or less—while enabling higher energy density in both cathodes and anodes.

Initial orders are being delivered to leading battery developers and automotive OEMs across the U.S., Europe and Asia. With a customer base exceeding 200 commercial and institutional partners, Ampcera aims to strengthen its role as a strategic supplier in the rapidly expanding solid-state battery ecosystem, which spans electric vehicles, consumer electronics, aerospace and defense applications.

Dr. Sumin Zhu, Co-founder and CEO of Ampcera, said customers are already validating the new powders and placing orders, marking a pivotal step in converting material innovation into commercial growth.

Headquartered in Silicon Valley with research and production facilities in Tucson, Arizona, Ampcera specializes in the development and large-scale manufacturing of advanced solid electrolyte materials. Its technology portfolio underpins over 200 customer engagements and focuses on delivering safer, higher-performance solid-state batteries. By leveraging proprietary materials and scalable processes, Ampcera supports the commercialization of next-generation energy storage solutions across multiple industries.

This product launch builds on Ampcera’s previous demonstrations of rapid-charging all-solid-state batteries and positions the company for accelerated growth in a market that continues to pursue higher energy density and improved safety. As global demand for advanced battery materials rises, Ampcera’s nano sulfide powders are expected to address key manufacturing bottlenecks and drive broader adoption of solid-state technologies.

The company is actively seeking strategic investors and manufacturing partners to scale production capacity and accelerate its go-to-market efforts. Interested parties can reach out via investors@ampcera.com.
