On November 19, 2025, EVE Energy and Swedish energy storage integrator Vimab BESS AB signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding at the GENERA Energy and Environment International Trade Fair in Madrid. The agreement sets a target deployment of 1.48 GWh of battery energy storage systems across Northern Europe, supporting regional efforts to balance renewable generation and reduce electricity price volatility.
The Nordic region has set ambitious carbon emission targets and continues to expand wind and solar capacity. However, the variability of these resources and growing electrification rates create supply-demand mismatches that large-scale energy storage can address. Under the MoU, EVE Energy will supply high-performance batteries, system solutions, and technical support to Vimab BESS AB for projects in Sweden and beyond. The first batch of batteries is scheduled for delivery in December, demonstrating both parties’ commitment to timely project execution.
