OPmobility and ProLogium have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on the development and integration of solid-state battery cells into modules and packs for electric vehicles. Solid-state batteries are expected to deliver significant improvements in driving range, charging speed and safety, making them a key technology for next-generation mobility solutions.

Under the terms of the MoU, ProLogium will supply its proprietary solid-state battery cells to OPmobility. OPmobility will take responsibility for the design, engineering and manufacturing of battery modules and full pack assemblies that incorporate these cells. Both companies will work together to conduct electrical performance testing and validation at the module and pack levels, using shared test protocols and engineering workflows.

The joint effort is focused on creating a battery module solution that can be adopted by original equipment manufacturers for upcoming electric vehicle platforms. By translating cell-level advantages—such as higher energy density and enhanced safety—into validated module- and pack-level performance, the partners aim to streamline the integration process and accelerate the availability of these advanced battery systems in the automotive market.

Félicie Burelle, Chief Executive Officer of OPmobility, commented, “This partnership represents a significant step in expanding our electrification product offerings. It demonstrates our ability to collaborate with industry leaders to innovate and support a more efficient, sustainable mobility ecosystem.”

Youssef Souiba, Executive Vice President and President of OPmobility’s C-Power Business Group, added, “Partnering with a solid-state pioneer like ProLogium enhances our capability to address the evolving needs of global automakers. This collaboration aligns with our strategy of designing and assembling battery packs across diverse cell technologies.”

Vincent Yang, Founder and CEO of ProLogium, noted, “Widespread adoption of solid-state batteries hinges on effective system integration and validation from cells up to full packs. Our MoU with OPmobility sets a clear technical roadmap for performance testing and module development, with the shared aim of delivering an OEM-ready solution under a compliant framework.”
