BattGenie’s core technology uses physics-based porous electrode pseudo-2-dimensional (P2D) models to simulate battery behavior, accounting for degradation factors like lithium plating and SEI layer formation. A patented fail-safe, iteration-free solver (US10769236B2) accelerates computation for microcontroller integration without extra hardware. This enables optimized charging profiles—under 20 minutes for a full charge—and has been shown to improve cycle life by over 100%.
BattGenie offers software-driven battery management solutions, including BattStudio—an industrial battery R&D platform integrating data management, analytics, and advanced modeling tools. Its software can be embedded in existing controllers to deliver efficient and cost-effective battery optimization across diverse applications.
