BlackMass Energies specializes in advanced lithium-ion battery recycling, focusing on black mass production and metal recovery. Their process involves collection and dismantling of spent batteries, mechanical processing to produce black mass containing lithium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, and graphite, followed by advanced hydrometallurgical treatment methods to purify these metals for reuse. Developed in-house recycling technologies at their R&D facility enable high-efficiency, low-carbon-footprint extraction.
