Hyundai MOBIS’s battery technology includes its Pulsating Heat Pipe (PHP) system—an aluminum alloy solution offering ten times greater heat transfer efficiency than standard materials—for ultra-fast EV charging thermal management. Manufactured via a streamlined press technique for large-scale, cost-efficient production, the ultra-thin 0.8 mm design integrates advanced power conversion and management controls. The company also develops complete battery pack solutions with safety features and monitoring systems for extended life and improved charging.
Hyundai MOBIS produces chassis modules, safety systems, and electrification components for automotive OEMs. In EVs, its products include PHP-based battery cooling systems, advanced power conversion units, battery management controls, and complete battery pack assemblies featuring safety and monitoring systems.
At CES 2025, Hyundai MOBIS unveiled a Holographic Windshield Display co-developed with ZEISS (pre-development completed in 2024, market launch targeted for 2027) and formed a strategic partnership with Qualcomm to develop next-generation ADAS combining the Snapdragon Ride Flex SoC with MOBIS’s software platform.
