Local authorities named the road to the plant “SK Road” in recognition of its economic impact, and SK On Hungary earned TÜV Rheinland’s Cybersecurity Management System certification for its battery management system.

Investors

Wholly owned by SK Innovation via SK On Co. Ltd., with support from export credit agencies Euler Hermes, Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, and Export-Import Bank of Korea providing $2B in insurance and guarantees. The Iváncsa plant project is valued at $2.3B.
