Wetac offers starter batteries for cars, trucks, motorcycles, and boats; maintenance-free lead-acid batteries for emergency power systems, telecommunications, alarm installations, and medical equipment; and MOVE motive power batteries using AGM and GEL technologies for cyclic applications such as golf carts, aerial work platforms, and mobility scooters.
In 2023 Wetac partnered with Conneqtech to develop intelligent battery monitoring systems for smaller electric vehicles and cleaning equipment, and collaborated with Battery Watering Technologies to enhance distribution of battery maintenance systems across Europe.
In 2023, Nordian, a Netherlands-based private equity firm, acquired a majority stake in Wetac to support its expansion into new geographical markets and energy transition solutions, with the existing management team retaining an active role.
