Coulomb Solutions Inc. (CSI) has announced the launch of its next-generation Super Long Life (SLL) commercial vehicle battery systems, offering a 900,000-mile and 15-year warranty. These battery systems are engineered by CATL, a leading global battery manufacturer, specifically for commercial applications such as transit buses, school buses, last-mile delivery vehicles, locomotives, and other vehicles that demand extended service lifespans.
As CATL’s authorized partner and service provider in North America, CSI is now accepting orders for the SLL systems, with deliveries scheduled to begin in September. The new battery systems boast a specific energy of 175 WH/kg and an energy density of 270 WH/L, ensuring both high performance and durability. CSI’s team of battery experts will collaborate with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to integrate and optimize the performance of the SLL battery series swiftly. These systems are designed to meet the rigorous demands of various commercial electric vehicles, including trucks, buses, locomotives, as well as off-road and marine applications.
