Farasis Energy, a prominent global player in lithium-ion battery technology and manufacturing, has entered into a Manufacturing Frame Agreement with Beyonder AS, a leader in high-capacity battery technology. This partnership aims to advance next-generation energy solutions and support the transition to sustainable mobility.

Under the agreement, Farasis Energy will leverage its advanced manufacturing capabilities to produce Beyonder’s innovative battery technology for new applications. Tove N. Ljungquist, CEO of Beyonder AS, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the synergy between the two companies and their joint effort to deliver state-of-the-art products to the e-mobility market.

Thomas Schnepf, General Manager of Farasis Energy Europe, noted the significance of the partnership, emphasizing the combined expertise of both companies in pioneering advancements in battery technology. He affirmed Farasis Energy’s commitment to contributing to the shared vision of revolutionizing mobility solutions through manufacturing excellence.

Thomas Bergan, EVP Operations at Beyonder, also commented on the collaboration, expressing confidence in the quality and timely delivery of their products through Farasis Energy’s manufacturing prowess.

In addition to the Manufacturing Frame Agreement, Farasis Energy and Beyonder AS have signed a mutually exclusive Memorandum of Understanding to collaboratively develop, market, and supply a high-end 48V mobility module to a leading European original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for use in mild-hybrid vehicles. This module will integrate Beyonder’s BePowered high-power cell technology with Farasis Energy’s production capabilities, technical expertise, and market presence.

The partnership is poised to enhance the availability and reach of Beyonder’s products, offering reliable and high-quality solutions for various applications. The market for 12V and 48V mobility solutions is expected to grow significantly in the coming years, and Beyonder’s battery technology, known for its high power, long cycle life, and safety, is well-positioned to meet this demand.
