October 2024 marked the expansion of production capacity through new contract manufacturing lines, adding 800 MWh capacity for SiCore pouch cells. Additionally, Amprius secured a development contract with a Fortune 500 company in October 2024 for custom high-energy SiMaxx pouch cells.

Investors

Amprius Technologies completed a merger with Kensington Capital Acquisition Corp. IV in September 2022, resulting in approximately $87 million in gross proceeds. This transaction supported the company’s expansion plans, including the development of a gigawatt-hour scale manufacturing facility. Following the merger, Amprius began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol “AMPX,” with warrants trading as “AMPX.W.” While specific information about private investors remains limited, the public listing opened opportunities for broader market investment.
