EExion’s proprietary technology centers on modified carbon electrodes functioning with multiple ion types (H+, Li+, Na+, Zn++) in both aqueous and organic electrolytes, delivering nearly double the energy density of conventional systems. Their patented approach eliminates dependence on scarce materials while improving recyclability and long-term performance.
The Energize-N’-Go product line features supercapacitors designed for rapid charging, maintaining capacity through thousands of charge cycles. These devices cater to micro-mobility applications (e-scooters, e-bikes, motorcycles) and offer enhanced energy density and extended operational life for grid storage, reducing installation space and long-term maintenance costs.
EExion’s five-minute charging technology for electric vehicles demonstrated charging speeds up to 100 times faster than lithium-ion batteries and over 30,000 recharging cycles in testing. The technology has been applied in warehouse robotics and shared electric vehicle systems.
The seed round was led by Capital Nature, with participation from 4WARD VC and Climate Capital Collective (C3), supported by ESIL (Energy Storage Innovation Lab) backed by EDF Renewables Israel, Johnson Matthey and BAZAN Group, and several European angel investors.
