Battery Technology

ElectraLith’s patented Direct Lithium Extraction and Refining (DLE-R) technology uses an electro-membrane process to extract and refine lithium in one modular step. It processes brines, geothermal oilfield brines, and spodumene deposits, operates on renewable energy, and achieves near-zero emissions to produce battery-grade lithium hydroxide.

Recent Projects

Announced in 2025 plans to deploy three pilot DLE-R plants within 24 months, including a 2026 trial at Rio Tinto’s Rincon Project in Argentina. Received industry recognitions: Cicada Top 23, APAC Cleantech 25, Top 5 Lithium Battery Startups in Germany.

Investors

ElectraLith secured a $27.5M Series A led by Main Sequence, with participation from Rio Tinto, Breakthrough Victoria, Chevron Technology Ventures, IP Group, and Monash University. It previously raised $2.25M in 2022 from Rio Tinto and IP Group.
