Company Overview

EMP Metals Corp is a lithium exploration and development company focused on large-scale direct lithium extraction assets in North America. Based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, the company specializes in developing lithium brine resources in Saskatchewan’s Duperow formation. With an experienced technical team and strategic partnerships, EMP Metals aims to meet growing lithium demand driven by electric vehicle production and renewable energy storage needs, leveraging Saskatchewan’s favorable geology, infrastructure, and supportive mining regulations for efficient resource development.

Battery Technology

EMP Metals employs advanced direct lithium extraction (DLE) technology developed with Koch Technology Solutions and Saltworks Technologies to efficiently extract lithium from brine. The process uses optimized brine lifting and disposal infrastructure for Saskatchewan’s geology, offering reduced environmental impact and higher recovery rates. At the Viewfield project, the technology achieved lithium concentrations averaging 241 mg/L with flow rates of 418 m³/day. The extracted lithium eluate is refined into high-purity battery-grade lithium carbonate for lithium-ion battery manufacturing.

Products

Production of high-purity, battery-grade lithium carbonate via DLE pilot plant operations and advanced processing, delivering a refined product suitable for electric vehicle and energy storage battery manufacturers.
