Recent Projects

In 2023, SKBA opened an IT center in Roswell, Georgia, adding 200 technical jobs; it surpassed hiring targets at its Commerce facility two years early; and, through the BlueOval SK joint venture with Ford, expanded EV battery production capacity in North America.

SK Group is the primary investor. The company is also supported by a $9.6B U.S. Department of Energy loan program for the BlueOval SK joint venture with Ford.
