Indian battery brand Amaron, the flagship automotive battery brand of Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, is using Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 to strengthen its presence in the European automotive aftermarket.
The company is exhibiting at the Frankfurt trade fair from 8–12 September 2026, presenting its battery portfolio to European customers and industry stakeholders. Amaron currently has a presence across more than 70 countries in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and Africa, while continuing to expand into new international markets.
At the event, the company is showcasing solutions across several automotive and mobility applications, including SLI, EFB and AGM batteries for passenger vehicles, as well as deep-cycle and marine batteries and products for trucks and other heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
Amaron says its international expansion is being supported by manufacturing capacity exceeding 65 million automotive batteries annually, alongside its engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
The company is positioning Europe as an important growth market as the automotive sector undergoes changes driven by electrification, digitalisation and evolving mobility requirements.
According to Divakar Sukumaran, Chief Business Officer – Automotive International at Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, the company’s participation at Automechanika Frankfurt is aimed at introducing Amaron’s battery technology to European customers and building partnerships across the automotive value chain.
The move comes as Amara Raja broadens its international business beyond conventional automotive batteries, with the wider company also active in areas including lithium-ion cell manufacturing, EV charging, battery-pack assembly and energy-storage solutions.
Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 runs from 8–12 September, bringing automotive aftermarket companies and technology providers together in Frankfurt.
