Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) and Transfar Group have signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian Province, to advance green transformation and intelligent upgrades across industrial sectors. The collaboration aims to leverage CATL’s strengths in new energy technologies and intelligent manufacturing alongside Transfar Group’s expertise in smart logistics and zero-carbon solutions, establishing an open, collaborative, and sustainable industrial ecosystem.

The partnership will focus on three primary areas. First, by deepening supply-chain coordination, both organizations plan to stabilize and optimize the procurement of critical battery materials, as well as improve warehousing and logistics processes. These efforts are intended to create a more efficient, reliable, and low-carbon supply chain foundation for long-term development.

Second, the two companies will expand their zero-carbon ecosystem by developing solutions for multiple application scenarios. Target areas include logistics transportation, commercial vehicle electrification, industrial and commercial energy storage, integrated solar-storage-charging-swapping networks, zero-carbon communities, and smart agriculture. Through the integration of advanced technologies and scenario-driven innovation, the partnership seeks to pilot scalable demonstration projects that can be replicated across different regions.

Third, CATL and Transfar Group will explore opportunities in future industries by introducing embodied intelligent robots and other high-end equipment into new energy installations. Initial pilots are planned in Hangzhou, with the goal of driving deep integration between robotics and energy technologies. This initiative supports broader strategic objectives outlined in China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and will help identify new growth drivers for both partners.

By positioning Hangzhou as a strategic hub for localized scenario implementation and model co-development, CATL and Transfar Group intend to extend their joint successes throughout Zhejiang Province and eventually nationwide. The collaboration represents a shift from traditional business cooperation to ecosystem co-creation, with the shared objective of advancing the integration and upgrading of the entire new energy value chain.
